Hey guys, I'm your host Anurag Birla - a Masters of Finance Student at NUS Business School (National University of Singapore). I graduated from NYU with a degree in Economics, Math and Business Studies and I'm incredibly passionate about investing, making money and most importantly learning about companies, industries, trends and news that revolve around the finance world.
In this podcast, I aim to take you along a journey of learning and discovery as I get better at analysing, breaking down and studying companies, hopefully helping some of you along the way too. Netflix Wants More
In this episode I talk about Netflix's outstanding earnings and how they've cemented their position as leaders in the streaming space. I also talk about their WWE Raw deal and what this means for content and potential future live sports streaming for the platform. I also talk about Comcasts surprise earnings and the strength of their growing peacock, NBCUniversal and theme parks business . I end with Tesla's disappointing quarter and year overall. A glum outlook for 2024 leaves little room for excitement in investors/shareholders.
